Each boat has a full-time crew of three, on call 24 hours a day to attend to your every wish: an experienced captain with an unrivalled knowledge of the vast waterway network, a skilled engineer/boatman and a superb chef. Behind the scenes, our land-based support team is also always on hand to make any special arrangements and provide local information.

The food you'll eat on board represents the very best of Kerala's famous cuisine, beautifully cooked and presented. For breakfast you'll be served traditional Keralan chapattis , puttu or appam with side dishes and platters of fresh fruit. The western option is omelette and toast - but we'd always recommend the real thing!

Lunch and supper feature a sumptuous variety of wonderful curries. Popular vegetarian dishes include pineapple pachadi , green bananas, okra and beans, cooked with fresh coconut and fragrant mild spices, and traditionally served on banana leaves. You also have the option of dishes based on chicken, locally-caught fish or succulent seafood. Throughout the day you'll be served fresh pineapple, mango, watermelon and papaya, snacks such as bananas in cardamom batter and delicious cups of chai . And naturally, ice-cold Kingfisher beer is always available …
