The food you'll eat on board represents the very best of Kerala's famous cuisine, beautifully cooked and presented. For breakfast you'll be served traditional Keralan chapattis , puttu or appam with side dishes and platters of fresh fruit. The western option is omelette and toast - but we'd always recommend the real thing!
Lunch and supper feature a sumptuous variety of wonderful curries. Popular vegetarian dishes include pineapple pachadi , green bananas, okra and beans, cooked with fresh coconut and fragrant mild spices, and traditionally served on banana leaves. You also have the option of dishes based on chicken, locally-caught fish or succulent seafood. Throughout the day you'll be served fresh pineapple, mango, watermelon and papaya, snacks such as bananas in cardamom batter and delicious cups of chai . And naturally, ice-cold Kingfisher beer is always available …
